Welcome to our Summer Arts Course.
This Summer we'll explore the methods and conceptual philosophy of Islamic arts and designs by looking at up to 12 prominent architectural examples.
A Key text for our study of Islamic geometric designs is Eric Broug, Islamic Geometric Patterns, from which we'll practice layouts in class of patterns and designs. The materials we'll use for practicing these patterns are in the G drive at :
